How the AI is metered — in plain terms

Everything except the AI is unlimited. AI work costs real money to run, so it is metered in credits — and we would rather show you the meter than hide it behind a fair-use clause.

What a credit is

A credit is one unit of AI work. Your balance is cumulative rather than a monthly quota: it does not expire, it is never reset on a schedule, and activating a plan or redeeming a promo code simply tops it up. Spend it in one afternoon or over six months — it behaves the same either way.

Pricing questions

What exactly is an AI credit?
It is the unit Votira uses to meter AI work. Generating a survey, analysing a question and analysing a whole survey each cost one credit. Generating a synthetic persona costs 5, and each synthetic answer from the AI Panel costs 3. Creating a persona by hand is always free.
Do credits reset every month or expire?
Neither. Credits are a cumulative balance, not a monthly allowance. They do not expire and they are never wiped on a schedule — activating a plan or redeeming a promo code adds to whatever you already have.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Only the AI features stop. Building surveys by hand, publishing them, collecting responses, viewing results, exporting data and using the API all keep working exactly as before.
What if an AI action fails halfway through?
You are refunded automatically. If a panel run stops early or a persona cannot be produced, the credits for the work that did not happen go straight back to your balance — you are never charged for an empty result.
How does Enterprise billing work?
You unlock Enterprise by converting your account to an organization, at no extra cost: your existing license becomes a complimentary founder seat and you keep paying the Pro price. Additional seats for teammates are €9 per seat per month. Every seat, the founder one included, adds 25 AI credits to a single pool that the whole organisation draws from, so the credits follow the team rather than one person.
Is there a free trial, and what does it include?
Yes — 7 days with every feature unlocked and 5 AI credits, with no credit card required. It is the full product, not a reduced tier, so what you evaluate is exactly what you would be paying for.
What happens when the trial ends if I do not subscribe?
Nothing is deleted. Your account moves to a read-only state: you keep access to your surveys, responses and results, and choosing a plan later restores full editing immediately.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing portal whenever you like and keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Your surveys and responses are always preserved.
Do you accept promo codes?
Yes. A promo code can grant a period of access, a top-up of AI credits, or both. Redeeming one while you already have access extends what you have rather than replacing it.
Is this page the same as the checkout?
No. This is the public comparison. Checkout, invoices and your current credit balance live inside your account, once you have signed up.
