Everything you need to ask better questions

Votira is two products in one: a complete survey platform for reaching real people, and an AI Panel of synthetic personas that answers your survey in minutes. This page walks through what each one actually does for you — and when to reach for it.

Survey platform

From a blank page to a survey worth sending

Most surveys fail long before anyone answers them: the questions are leading, the scale is wrong, the form is too long. Votira removes that risk by drafting the questionnaire for you and then giving you precise control over every part of it.

AI question generation

Describe what you want to learn in one or two sentences. Votira turns that into a structured questionnaire: the right question types for the job, balanced answer options, neutral wording and a sensible order that warms respondents up before asking the hard questions.

Nothing is locked. Every generated question can be rewritten, retyped, reordered, split across pages or deleted — and you can ask the AI for another pass whenever the direction changes.

  • Bias-aware phrasing that avoids leading and double-barrelled questions
  • Answer options that actually cover the range of realistic replies
  • A draft in seconds, so you spend your time editing instead of starting

One sentence in, a structured questionnaire out.

19 question types, grouped by what they measure Choice, rating, experience metrics, structured grids and typed input.

The question type you choose decides what you can learn. A star rating tells you how people feel; a ranking tells you what they would sacrifice; an NPS score tells you whether they would recommend you. Votira gives you the full toolkit so you never have to bend the wrong question into the right shape.

Choice

Single choice, multiple choice, yes/no and image choice — for picking between defined options, including visual ones like packaging or layouts.

Rating & scales

Star rating, Likert agreement, numeric scale, emoji scale and continuous slider — for measuring intensity of opinion rather than a simple yes or no.

Experience metrics

NPS, CSAT and CES — the three standard loyalty, satisfaction and effort scores, each scored automatically so the number means the same thing every time you run it.

Structured & typed input

Matrix grids, ranking, open text, whole numbers, currency amounts, dates and email — for trade-offs, detail and anything that needs a validated format.

Why it matters: Mixing types keeps a survey short and readable. One ranking question can replace five separate rating questions — and a shorter survey is a survey people finish.
A survey editor built for iteration Write, reorder, duplicate and preview without ever losing your place.

A survey is never right the first time. The editor is designed around that: add a question wherever you need it, change its type without retyping the content, move it into a new position, and preview the whole thing exactly as a respondent will see it before anyone else does.

  • Per-type settings — scale bounds, star counts, matrix rows, currency and option lists
  • Mark questions required or optional, one by one
  • Live preview of the exact respondent experience, on desktop and mobile
  • Draft and published states, so work in progress is never exposed
Why it matters: The gap between "good enough" and "clear" is usually three small edits. Making those edits cheap is what keeps your data clean.
Multi-page surveys and conditional branching Show each person only the questions that apply to them.

Long forms lose people. Split your survey across pages so it arrives in digestible steps, then add display rules so questions appear only when they are relevant — ask about churn reasons only to people who said they cancelled, or about price only to people who said they would buy.

  • Rules based on earlier answers — equals, contains, greater than, less than
  • Combine several conditions with "match all" or "match any"
  • Hidden questions are never counted as unanswered or forced as required
Why it matters: Irrelevant questions are the fastest way to lose a respondent. Branching keeps the survey short for everyone while still collecting the depth you need from the people who can answer.
Built-in A/B testing Compare two versions of a question without running two surveys.

Sometimes the honest answer is that you do not know how to ask the question. Write both versions, choose how to split the traffic between them, and Votira assigns each respondent consistently and reports the two variants side by side.

  • Test wording, framing, answer options or the price point itself
  • Choose the split — an even test, or a cautious 80/20
  • Results and exports keep the variants separate, so the comparison stays honest
Why it matters: Wording changes results more than most people expect. A/B testing turns "I think this is clearer" into something you can actually prove.
20 ready-made templates across 13 categories Start from a proven questionnaire instead of a blank page.

Every template is a complete, editable survey built around a specific question — not a stub. Pick one, change the product name and a couple of options, and you are ready to send. Templates are fully translated, so the questions read naturally in whichever language you work in.

StartupProduct PricingFeedback E-commerceMarketing ResearchHR HealthEducation FinanceFood & Beverage Sustainability
Why it matters: A template encodes decisions someone already got wrong once — which scale to use, which question to ask first, what to leave out. You inherit all of that for free.
Your brand, not ours Colours, imagery and your own domain on the response page.

Respondents trust a form that looks like it belongs to you. Set your accent colour, add a header and background image, and serve the survey from your own domain so the link you share carries your name rather than a generic one.

  • Custom accent colour, header image and background image
  • Serve surveys from your own custom domain
  • A mobile-first response page that works on any device
Why it matters: Branding is not decoration here — a recognisable sender is one of the strongest drivers of whether a survey gets opened at all.
One link to share — and drop-off analytics when they leave No respondent accounts, and partial answers are never wasted.

Publishing gives you a single public link. Anyone can open it and answer on any device, with no sign-up and no app to install. Progress is saved as people move through the survey, so even the people who abandon halfway still tell you something valuable.

  • One public link, unlimited responses, no account required
  • Partial responses captured automatically as people progress
  • A drop-off funnel showing exactly which page or question loses people
Why it matters: A completion rate tells you something is wrong. A drop-off funnel tells you exactly where — which is the difference between guessing and fixing.
Live results and AI analysis Charts that update as answers arrive, and a summary of what they mean.

Every question gets the right visualisation automatically: distributions for choice questions, averages for scales, a scored gauge for NPS, CSAT and CES, and a ranked list for trade-off questions. Open-text answers — usually the richest and the most ignored — are summarised by AI into recurring themes and the signals worth acting on.

  • Per-question charts, distributions and averages, updating in real time
  • NPS, CSAT and CES scored the standard way, with no spreadsheet required
  • AI summaries of open text, plus an overall read on the whole survey
Why it matters: Collecting answers is easy. The bottleneck is reading two hundred free-text replies — and that is exactly the part Votira does for you.
Exports and shareable reports Take the raw data with you, or hand over a finished summary.

Your data is yours. Export every response to CSV for a spreadsheet or a notebook, pull structured JSON through the API, or generate a PDF report when what you need is something an investor or a stakeholder can read in two minutes.

  • CSV export with A/B variants kept in separate columns
  • Structured JSON export through the REST API
  • PDF reports for sharing results outside the tool
Why it matters: A tool you cannot get your data out of is a tool you cannot leave. Exports are the reason you can commit without hesitating.
AI Panel

The other half: answers without waiting for people

Reaching real respondents takes days and costs money. The AI Panel gives you a rehearsal: a set of synthetic personas that answer your survey the way a described audience plausibly would, so you find the broken question before you spend real attention on it.

What a synthetic persona actually is

A persona is a fictional but coherent respondent: an occupation, a location, an income bracket, a household, goals and frustrations. Describe the audience you care about and Votira builds a diverse set of them — not twenty copies of the same person, but a spread that reflects how a real group would differ.

When you administer a survey to that panel, each persona answers in character. You get a full result set — the same charts, the same scoring, the same AI analysis — in the time it takes to make coffee.

  • Generate a panel with AI, or write personas by hand for free
  • Group them into named pools and reuse them across every survey
  • Keep pools private, or share them with your whole organisation
  • Import and export personas, so a panel definition is never trapped

1

Describe the audience

One sentence about who you want to hear from, plus a size and any constraints that matter.

2

Generate the panel

Votira creates distinct, believable personas that fit the brief and respect every constraint you set.

3

Organise into pools

Save them as a named pool you can run again next month, or share with your team.

4

Administer the survey

Run any survey against the pool and read the results alongside your real responses.

Synthetic and real, side by side

Panel answers are tagged separately from human ones, so you can read them together or on their own. The usual pattern: run the panel to fix the survey, then publish it to real people and compare where the two disagree — the disagreements are often the most interesting finding.

No real personal data involved

Personas are fictional, so a panel run touches no real personal data at all. That makes it a clean way to explore sensitive topics, rehearse a study, or reach segments that would be difficult or expensive to recruit.

Platform & teams

Built to fit the rest of your stack

Votira is not a closed box. Everything you can do in the interface you can also do programmatically, and everything your team does stays organised under clear roles.

REST API

Create surveys, read responses, trigger AI analysis and export data from your own code. Authenticate with a personal API key and automate the parts you would otherwise repeat by hand.

Read the API docs

MCP server for AI agents

Connect an AI assistant directly to your Votira account through the Model Context Protocol, so it can list surveys, read responses and pull analysis as part of a wider workflow.

Read the MCP docs

Managed API keys

Issue separate keys for the REST API and for MCP, name them per integration, and revoke any one of them the moment it is no longer needed — without disturbing the others.

Organisations and roles

Turn your account into an organisation, invite colleagues — internal or external — and give each one the right level of access: view only, edit, or full administration.

Sign in the way you already do

Email and password with a strong policy, or one-click sign-in with Google or GitHub. Password recovery and email verification are built in and work in every supported language.

Five languages, end to end

The whole product — interface, templates, emails and the response page — is available in English, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese, so your respondents answer in their own language.

Security & privacy

Handled carefully, by default

Surveys collect opinions, and sometimes they collect personal data too. Votira is built so that the careful option is the one you get without asking for it — and so you can always show what happened and when.

Read the privacy notice

Account audit log

Available on Enterprise: a searchable record of the actions taken in your organisation, retained on a defined schedule for security and compliance reviews.

Personal data stays out of the AI

Answers to personal fields such as email are never included in AI analysis and are never written to logs. They remain visible only to you, the survey owner.

Strict access boundaries

Your surveys and responses are reachable only by you and the organisation members you have granted access to. Response links are unguessable and scoped to a single survey.

GDPR-ready, including deletion

A documented privacy notice, and a one-step account deletion that permanently removes your account, surveys, responses and uploaded images.
